Improve your life right now.
Do you find yourself worried about tomorrow? Join the club! Most of us are thinking about what will happen next. The problem with this is that this creates anxiety.
We don’t have control over what will happen in the future. We also have no control over what already happened.
When you practice mindfulness, you will be in the present. Mindfulness will help you make the most of your life. Today. Now.
You can do a few things to have a better handle on your future. And having the feeling of control can help minimize your anxiety.
If you can’t help yourself, like me, and keep worrying about the future. Keep reading.

Improve Your Life by Managing Your Time
Stop letting time just get away from you. You may feel better when you dedicate time to working towards your goals for the future.
If a ‘to-do list’ overwhelms you, make a ‘done list’. Include your daily activities like work, showering, and even relax time.
Setting time aside for things that are important for you, like spending time with family, will help you realize that you are being wise about managing your time. And that you are already taking control of your life.
You learn to live for now, instead of tomorrow or yesterday.
Improve Your Life by Adding New Habits
Add a good habit to your day that will help you improve your life. For example, if you drink only one glass of water daily, start working toward drinking an extra few glasses.

Improve your life by working on your health.
If you don’t already exercise, add something simple like a thirty-minute walk. Then add this to your daily plan. Make a commitment to your health and stick with it as much as you can. You can find other great exercises you can do from home here.
The more effort you put into building a positive you, the more results you’ll see.
Improve Your Life by Managing Your Workload
If you are working long hours, or are going to school, learn to manage your time there also. When you stress and overwork, you’ll raise your cortisol levels and get off balance. You need to take time out for you. Add break times throughout your day. Don’t eat lunch at your desk or skip it altogether.
It’s a myth that you have to be the most overworked person in the building. Or the most overworked mom at home.
During work hours or school time, tackle the hardest stuff first. You can also deal with the boring work first to eliminate stressing your day.
On the flip side, if you know that you’ll be easily overwhelmed by tackling the hard stuff, start with the easy stuff then move up from there.
The point is to reduce stress and work smart, not hard. Also, don’t put off what you can do today. Doing this, even a little bit, will help improve your life.
Improve Your Life by Managing Your Energy and Focus.
See when you are the most productive or focused in the day. For example, if you know you do your best work in the early morning, do what needs your concentration then and do the rest later in the day.

Here are some other things that can help you improve your life.
-At night you can lay out your clothes for the next day. Also, prepare what you will take to save time.
-Relax! Tips for relaxing: You can stretch in the morning when you wake up. Stretch in the afternoon, and stretch at night to relax your muscles.
-Do you procrastinate?
Procrastination will only waste your time and build stress. Instead of putting things off, get it done now. You will be amazed at the free time you’ll be left with when you stop procrastinating. I would say, if you only do one thing off this list, this will help improve your life.
-If you find yourself spending too much time on your smartphone, set a timer! Allow yourself to have social media and video time. When done properly and at the right time, this can help you unwind.
-Say no. This is a great way to improve your life. If you say yes to every person that asks for your time, you’ll be left with less time to do what you have to do, and you’ll end up stressed.
Instead of saying yes, thank them for thinking of you, and let them you you are not available. Saying no is a complete sentence. You don’t have to give them a reason.
-Start taking note of how you already spend your day. Write down what an ideal day would look like for you. Then start working toward that. Don’t’ forget to include time for you. Just you. There will be more of you to share if you take care of yourself.
Do this now and watch as you grow and improve your life.
