Have you ever struggled to figure out what you truly want? It’s a common challenge, and it often stems from the fact that we’ve been influenced by our environment since birth.

We’re constantly told what we should want, making it hard to listen to our own desires.

Even if you’ve managed to ignore all the external ‘shoulding’ and stayed true to what you want, life’s experiences might have convinced you that your dreams aren’t possible.

But here’s the good news: dreams never die.

If something deep inside you still tugs at your heart, it means there’s something you want but haven’t yet identified. So, how can you figure out what that is?

Start by reflecting on what you want and dig deeper into why you want it. Once you identify what you want, it’s time to explore the reasons behind it.

Look at your reasons and ask yourself the following questions: Why does this matter to you? Why do you feel this way? How would achieving this make you feel? What would happen if you didn’t have, do, or be this? Why does that matter?

Keep probing and asking yourself why until you get to the core of the issue.

Once you get to the core of the issue, it’s time to take action. Understanding your true desires and the reasons behind them can be incredibly empowering.

It gives you a clear direction and purpose, making it easier to stay motivated and committed to your goals.

Remember, identifying what you want and understanding why you want it is just the beginning. The real magic happens when you take that knowledge and start working towards your dreams.

It’s about making a plan, taking small steps, and staying focused on your goal.
