If you are trying to improve your overall well-bei If you are trying to improve your overall well-being and reduce the risk of chronic diseases, mastering the basics of a healthy lifestyle can help!

✨Here are a few tips to help you get started✨

🍌Eat: If you want to feel your best, make sure to fuel your body with plenty of fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins! Trust me, your body will thank you for it! It's also important to steer clear of processed foods, sugary drinks, and too much saturated and trans fats. Trust me, your body will thank you!

🚶Move: Shoot for a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity each week to keep your body feeling strong and energized! 💪🏼 Make sure to include some killer strength training exercises in your workout routine at least twice a week! 💪🏋️‍♀️

⚖️Maintain a healthy weight: If you are overweight or obese, losing even a small amount of weight can improve your health and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

🛌Sleep: Make sure to get your 6-8 hours of beauty sleep every night! It's essential for your overall health and well-being

🚭🍺Prioritize your health by avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. These habits can seriously harm your body and increase your risk of chronic diseases and early death. Let's make self-care a top priority! 

🧘If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's important to take some time for yourself and engage in activities that help you relax. Yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercises are great ways to manage stress and find inner peace.

👩‍⚕️Don't forget to prioritize your health by scheduling regular check-ups and screenings as recommended by your doctor.

Remember that a healthy lifestyle is a lifelong journey, and it's best to start with small, manageable changes and progress gradually.

The older I get, the more important building muscl The older I get, the more important building muscle is to me. 

I can feel my body go through so many changes. Inside and out. 

And what my body needs is to stop losing muscle mass and to firm and tone it up. 

I just finished my workout and I'm exhausted but in a good way, do you know what I mean?? 

Grab some weights and lift then a few times a week.  Start light then load up as you progress.
